Can Eroxon® StimGel help me?

Erectile dysfunction (ED) (sometimes called impotence) is the inability to get and keep an erection firm enough for sexual performance. Several different things can cause or contribute to ED, such as stress, certain medications, smoking, and certain diseases or disorders. Luckily, there are many medications and devices available to help, but the medications are prescription only and devices can be hard or inconvenient to use. Recently, a new topical gel has become available that can be obtained over-the counter, making treatment easily accessible.

How does Eroxon® StimGel work?
Eroxon® gel helps blood flow in the penis by making it both cool and warm at the same time. If you have ever used Bengay® or any other gel or cream that has menthol, Eroxon® works similarly to this. One important thing to know is that Eroxon® will only work if you are sexually excited.

Is Eroxon® StimGel safe?
As this gel is applied to the skin, most side effects from the medication include skin irritation such as burning, itching, or soreness. Eroxon® will usually work on the first or second try, but for some people it may take several tries. Eroxon® works with latex condoms. It is not a form of birth control and does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases, so other forms of protection need to be used during sex.

How do I use Eroxon® StimGel?
The Eroxon® gel should be applied right before having sex.

1. Check the expiration date of the tube before use. If it expired or if the tube is damaged, throw the tube away and use a new one.
2. Unscrew the cap and pierce the tube seal with the top of the cap.
3. Squeeze all the gel out of the tube. This will provide the correct amount of medication (pea-sized amount).
4. Apply the medication to the head of the penis. If you are uncircumcised, gently pull back the foreskin before applying the gel.
5. Massage the gel onto the head of your penis for around 15 seconds.

Effects of the gel may be seen within the first 10 minutes.

The medication is not a cure, but rather another option adding to current medical, surgical and devices currently available.
